The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild runs smoothly on Cemu 1.7.4 emulator

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild already works perfectly in the Cemu emulator, in version 1.7.4 and the truth is that in 4K resolutions the game is spectacular.

A few days ago we echoed that the Cemu simulator in version 1.7.3 will allow you to enjoy The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. This PC simulator allows you to emulate the Wii U and the Nintendo Switch consoles and little by little the catalog is expanding. Now it has been announced that the next Cemu update, 1.7.4, will allow you to play the Zelda game on the Nintendo Switch without problems and without bugs.

Version 1.7.2 already included the game, but you could not go past the initial menu, version 1.7.3 allowed to run the game with some bugs, among which was the inability to use skills, quite important frame drops, bugs in the textures in AMD graphics, in addition to some problems with the waypoints or cutscenes, which did not work. All this will be fixed in version 1.7.4 of the emulator, which will be released a week after the last update, with all the problems fixed, in principle.

It is quite impressive that they have managed to fix all the bugs in such a short time and that it can be executed without problems, something that in principle should have taken a little longer. Those created, to demonstrate how the game works, have released a preview where we can see that the game works without problems, relatively, since at the moment it suffers from some frame drops and jerks, mostly in open areas, although they will be polished these problems.

When we are in closed or limited areas, the game goes without major problems. The most interesting thing is that this game in the Cemu emulator allows it to be played with a 4K resolution, allowing much higher image quality than in the Wii U and Nintendo Switch.
