Thermalright ARO-M14, heatsinks especially for AMD Ryzen processors

Introduced the Thermalright ARO-M14 heatsink, which is developed exclusively for AMD Ryzen processors and will hit the market, predictably this week, but little else is known.

This week the new second generation AMD Ryzen processors will be launched, which will improve in performance and frequencies, thanks to the passage of the manufacturing process in 12nm. Thermalright has announced the launch of two heatsinks, coinciding with this arrival. The Thermalright ARO-M14, is characterized by being a high-end heatsink and is available in two variants, the first the ARO-M14G with a gray cover and the ARO-M14O, which has a color top cover ' Ryzen Orange 'and also, on the top cover of both is written Ryzen.

The two heatsinks have dimensions of 152x129x162mm, which will have a weight of 888 grams. The body is a generous radiator with aluminum fins, crossed by six 6mm thick copper heatpipes, which pass through a large copper base, for efficient heat conduction. This heatsink has a TY-147A fan, which is PWM type and has dimensions of 140mm that works between 300RPM and 1300RPR, with a maximum loudness level of 21dBA, in addition to supporting a TDP of up to 240W.

Thermalright ARO-M14 has support to anchor a second fan, in case we want to install it, and it also has eight rubber pads, which will prevent this processor from generating extra noise due to the vibration of the fan itself. The system has a syringe-shaped dispenser with thermal paste and a special screwdriver has even been fitted to mount the heatsink. On the date of arrival on the market of this heatsink and the price of it, there is no data, but it is possible that they choose to put a moderate price.

  1. It looks pretty, but it seems very heavy, right? Let's see I'm not saying it's not going to be a brown beast, but I don't know how it will put so much weight on the plate in the medium / long term
