Thermalright AXP-100RH, the compact heatsink designed for compact equipment such as barebone or miniPC and has even been developed with the new ASUS RoG mini ITX motherboards in mind.

Correct processor cooling is a factor to consider and something that is not normally considered a priority. Thermalright is a fairly well known heatsink brand within the industry with interesting solutions. Now they have presented the Thermalright AXP-100RH, a low profile heatsink, ideal for compact equipment and that has been designed to be installed in barebones and miniPCs, which internally integrate mini ITX or micro ATX motherboards. A compact solution, not lacking in heat dissipation power, that supports multiple platforms and processors.

This heatsink has six 6mm diameter heatpipes, which have been developed in nickel-plated copper and which go through all the aluminum sheets that make up the body of the heatsink. A low-profile 120mm fan has been integrated, located above the aluminum fins, which allows a total of up to 150W of heat dissipation, capable of supporting the vast majority of processors on the market. The height of this heatsink in total is 65mm with fan and without fan is 51mm.

ASUS has installed in its latest RoG mini ITX motherboards, incomprehensibly very high heatsinks for chipsets, seven millimeters higher than the previous generation. This ridiculous increase means that the vast majority of coolers are not compatible with these chipset heatsinks. Thermalright ensures that the AXP-100RH is compatible with these motherboards and that he has tested it by putting the heatsink on them and there is no problem.

Thermalright AXP-100H is not for sale at the moment and the company has not said when this heatsink will be on sale, or what it will cost, but we can speculate that it could cost about € 45. It seems like a very interesting solution and according to Thermalright compatible with all motherboards.
