The Thermaltake company expands its line of power supplies with the Thermaltake Toughpower Grand RGB Gold, of great quality and performance.

Thermaltake has just announced the expansion of its line of power supplies, with a new product, the Thermaltake Toughpower Grand RGB Gold, which is completely modular and will come in 650W, 750W and 850W powers. This new power supply has an 80Plus Gold certification, with which we know that we will have at least 90% energy efficiency, something very to take into account, especially considering the costs of electrical energy.

In addition to having high-quality components, this power supply uses Riing 14 RGB fans, not only to offer high-quality cooling, but also to cool properly, but also to give a bright touch to the system, with a border of the RGB LED fan, which has five lighting modes.

The three power supplies presented by Thermaltake have a single high power + 12V line, which translates into a line output current of 54.2A for the 650W, 62.5A for the 750W and 70.9A for the 850W (if we apply Ohm's Law and calculate the power, starting from the + 12V voltage, we will see that the figures add up). These power supplies implement all the electrical protections on the market in addition to an Active PFC. The fan of this power supply is 140mm, which is low noise, reaching 26.1dBA, as long as it works at 100% load. The rear area has two buttons to turn the lighting on and off, and another to change the lighting modes. Thanks to the high-quality components built into this PSU, it comes with a ten-year warranty.

We don't know when they will be available, but the 650W PSU will cost € 100, the 750W will cost € 110 and the 850W PSU will cost € 130.
