A new Saints Row will be announced next year

There is little left for the next Saints Row to be announced, or so it seems. We have been since 2013 without a new one.

Several months ago we learned that they are developing a new Saints Row. Deep Silver confirmed it, and it is good news for fans who have been waiting for years for a new installment, because in 2013 we received Saints Row 4 and shortly after the spin-off Gat out of Hell that reused the entire map of the fourth installment. And let's just say Agents of Mayhem is one of Volition's biggest failures.

We will see it announced in a few months

Deep Silver has recently been able to confirm that the next Saints Row is going to be announced relatively soon. We will have to wait for this year to pass because they plan to announce it sometime in 2020. That means that it is totally ruled out evr if I announce at the The Game Awards gala next December 12th.

In addition, they insisted that the failure of Agents of Mayhem will not influence the new Saintsd Row title at all, that they will not pressure Volition or try to change the franchise, Understand that Agents of Mayhem is a totally different game, and that the best having Volition among their internal studies is that they know that it is best not to distract them when it comes to playing games.

So you only have to wait a few months to see that sought-after new Saints Row. We can speculate that it will be a title for PC, Xbox Scarlett and PlayStation 5 at least knowing that they are coming, and possibly on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One if it comes out next year or in 2021. Hopefully Volition is up to the task and has learned of their mistakes because their star franchise is one of the few that, if they do it well and manage to play their best cards; They can have their place in a genre monopolized by Grand Theft Auto V.
