We'll see Tesla's autonomous electric truck in September

Elon Musk announces on Twitter that they are working on an electric truck, something we already knew, but will be released publicly in September.

Electric vehicles and autonomous vehicles are the future of motorsports in general and one of the great references in this field is Tesla, who is a benchmark in fully electric cars and is working on autonomous and predictive systems, we even saw it as a Tesla vehicle he was able to predict an accident and avoid it. The future of Tesla, according to Elon Musk, is to take another leap and that is that the CEO of Tesla has announced that he plans to launch an electric truck during the month of September.

This tweet from Elon Musk reveals that the engineering team that works in the company has done an excellent job in the development of an electric truck, of which, as it cannot be otherwise, no data has been given. Some rumors surrounding the development of this electric truck and some suggestions made, would indicate that this truck could have autonomous driving, something that has already been seen in Tesla vehicles.

Musk has already commented on several occasions that possibly heavy trucks and similar vehicles are even more necessary to make them electric than light vehicles and that it would be a huge market for the company. Tesla Semi, which is how it has become known technically, will significantly reduce transportation costs and also increase safety. Musk has not given details on this autonomous electric truck?

There are many companies that work on these systems, such as Nikola Motor with its Nikola One, which is based on hydrogen batteries combined with a drive system based on natural gas. Mercedes-Benz has the Urban eTruk and for its part Mack would have in development together with other manufacturers a truck with zero emissions. We already know that when Tesla arrives it shakes the market in an important way and this announcement on Twitter has meant an increase of 3% of the company's shares.
