Activision Blizzard sues Reddit for refusing to provide information about the user who filtered the Call of Duty: Warzone
The Battle Royale mode is expanding rapidly, and many games are implementing it. We recently learned that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will have its own Battle Royale mode, called Warzone. This game, which will be released in the coming weeks, has not been officially announced by Activision . However, despite not being official, Activision has sued Reddit for refusing to disclose information about the user who leaked the game.
Here we enter a fairly gray area, since user privacy is something that should come first. Reddit does not want to give the information about the user who has leaked the game information. As is logical, Activsion wants to know who it was, possibly, to sue you for not a little money.

The person who made the leak is the user Assyrian214O. This user posted on Reddit an image with the following text: "I found this image, I'm not sure what it is, possibly it's a Battle Royale"
Logically the image has spread like wildfire on the network, since Call of Duty is a very popular saga. This thread on Reddit does not exist, since it has been deleted, as well as the account of this user. Additionally, Activision demands that all tweets containing the filtered image be deleted. It has also been requested that the YouTube video where a sequence of the Battle Royale mode appears be deleted.
Of course, people are sweating (sorry for the expression) Activision's claim to delete the tweets with the image of the game. For now, the leaked trailer for Call of Duty: Warzone is still available on YouTube. In addition, Reddit is flatly refusing to give personal information of the user who has uploaded the content to the forum. It is for this very reason that Activision has decided to sue Reddit.
Be that as it may, at Activision it seems that they are not very smart. With all this they only get more hype to the subject and talk more about it, in addition to keeping the image running. Denying it or officially announcing it would have been the smart thing to do, but they have chosen to go against everything and everyone.
It's worth remembering, on the other hand, that Activision Blizzard has removed its games from NVIDIA GeForce , despite being one of the first to collaborate. As they say, you can't get blood from a stone…

hahaha they really are half fools XD I came to find out about that and just look for the trailer and the images thanks to the activision scandal. They are also very crazy if they think that protecting privacy is something demanding. That user simply did something characteristic in any network and not even he can be sued, they should not even delete his account. In FB they would have simply deleted the post at the request of activision, because assuming that the content does not violate the rules, the user is not the one who is at fault in the first instance, but the source from which he obtained that information
