A few weeks ago Nintendo announced what will be the last major content patch for Animal Crossing New Horizons. The 2.0 update adds many new features to Animal Crossing New Horizons for Nintendo Switch that we will talk about soon and was planned to be released tomorrow, Friday.
But for some reason that we do not know, because midnight has not even arrived in Japan for it to be there on November 5, it is already available. There is no hidden trick, as any Nintendo Switch that has the game on a card or digital can download it now.

A quick summary of everything that this update offers, is that there is a lot of content to do many more tasks and small objectives in the game on a day-to-day basis. One of the main novelties is the cafeteria in the museum, so that we can order coffee and it is possible that several characters come together to have conversations. We can use the phone to invite them and even use Amiibo cards to call them.
The option to grow vegetables for cooking has been added, which does not seem to have a function beyond being a motivation to have something to do every day in the game. The captain returns to take us to different islands with different biomes that may be at different times of the day or even months, which will be an opportunity to get fish, insects and marine fauna that we are missing.
The gyroids have returned, so that if we dig them up, we can bury them again, water them and in a few days they will be repaired so they can decorate our house. There is an option to put fixed ladders on which to climb, so that thanks to the new update of Animal Crossing New Horizons there will come a point where we do not have to carry a ladder.
