AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 2.2 comes to Need For Speed ​​Unbound and F1 22

AMD has announced that its frame rescaling technology to improve gaming performance without upgrading hardware with a new graphics card or CPU, FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) 2.2, will be coming to upcoming games on the release schedule. The latest iteration of AMD's advanced scaling technology is coming to two other of the biggest racing game franchises, Need for Speed ​​Unbound and F1 22.

With these two games, the total number of titles compatible with FSR 2 is brought to 97. And it rises to a total of 226 available and future games compatible with all versions of FSR.

AMD adds that UL Solutions' 3DMark software will include FSR Feature Test in an upcoming update that utilizes FSR 2.2. This test will allow for easy comparison of the performance and image quality of FSR 2-enabled games with different quality mode settings. This will enable players to choose their preferred settings and those they believe are most appropriate.

Players can already enjoy a higher level of immersion with higher frame rates in Need for Speed ​​Unbound, the latest title in Electronic Arts' street racing series, with FSR 2.2. In the case of F1 22, the update that will include AMD FSR 2.2 is expected sometime in January 2023, but its arrival is fully confirmed.
