Among Us exceeds 4.000 million views on YouTube… ONLY IN SEPTEMBER!

The independent studio InnerSloth in 2018, when it released Among Us, it was not thought that the game would end up being a success. Thanks to the fact that several YouTube and Twitch influencers have played it, it has become the title of the moment. Among Us is one of the most played on PC, Android and iOS, but it is also one of the most viewed content on YouTube and Twitch.

According to recent statistics, during the month of September there were more than 4.000 million video views about Among Us. The 'YouTube's Culture & Trends' Report collects trends among YouTube content creators. Among Us is one of the protagonists of this YouTube report, which started out being played by PewDiePie.

Among Us generates millions and millions of views on YouTube

Uploading content related to the game Among Us seems to be trending and generates a great impact. Hornstromp Games, a channel with 100.000 subscribers at the beginning of September, already has more than 600.000 subscribers. This reflects the great impact Among Us has today.

The data shows that 18.7% of the views of Among Us come from the United States. It is followed by Mexico with 7.9%, South Korea with 6.4%, Indonesia and Brazil with 5.5% and then Argentina with 4.9%. In addition, about 30 million hours of content about Among Us have been added to Twitch between July and August.

Several analysts agree that Among Us along with Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout have been the biggest beneficiaries of the pandemic. During confinement, games of a social nature have become popular, due to the impossibility of socializing in person.

InnerSloth has already ruled out a sequel, stating that they will fix the game's bugs and add more content. Currently working hard to develop new content, which can now be enjoyed in beta on PC.
