Anthem will be compatible with NVIDIA DLSS outbound and in the future with RayTracing

Anthem developers note that the game will implement NVIDIA DLSS out of the box and that they hope to add RayTracing support.

A few days ago the Anthem developers announced that the game would move to a resolution of 1080p @ 30 FPS on console. BioWare highlighted that in subsequent updates they would reach 60 FPS and that if possible they would try to reach 4K. This is because the game is quite complex and is working on improving performance. The company also highlights that they hope to implement some of the technologies offered by the Turing architecture.

Anthem could have RayTracing and DLSS

The game is scheduled to be released on February 22. The game will also have a micro-payment system according to Electronic Arts announcement. Who has developed the game is BioWare, says that it is working on implementing some of the technologies that the Turing architecture offers. They want to bring some of these technologies to Sony and Microsoft consoles, to offer more fluidity.

Scylla Costa, Producer of BioWare, has given an interview about the game. Given the recent announcements, he was asked if the game would hit 60 FPS on the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X consoles:

“Yes, in the future […] We need to make sure that many parts of the game run smoothly. If it can, yes, it would come in the future for PS4 Pro and Xbox One X ". On the resolution to which Anthem will move on Sony and Microsoft consoles, Costa has responded: "4K on Xbox One X and 4K rescaled on PS4 Pro"

BioWare, without naming names, has answered several questions that have been posed subsequently. Among the data he has given, he spoke about NVIDIA technologies: “DLSS will be available shortly after its launch. RayTracing may come later "

They also wanted to emphasize that the game will be compatible with Dolby Vision, but without the corresponding certificate, but on the contrary it will not be compatible with Dolby Atmos. They also wanted to clarify that the game from the first day will be compatible with NVIDIA DLSS, but not with RayTracing, although they may add compatibility with future updates.
