Along with a new character and weapon that are on the way to Apex Legends, Respawn Entertainment will add a deathmatch mode to the battle royale as part of the Legacy update on May 4. Unlike other temporary modes, the deathmatch mode will be permanent.
Arenas mode will be a 3v3 team deathmatch mode that has several similarities to Valorant and other multiplayer team shooters. Some of the maps that way are sacrificed from Battle Royale map locations, but there will be some completely new arenas made from scratch.

This move seems inclined to bring Apex Legends to eSports. Given that the Battlñe Royale mode, while popular, is difficult to follow faithfully and consistently in sports competitions, always talking about the spectacle factor.
