Assassin's Creed Valhalla on Xbox Series X will run in 4K @ 30FPS without Ray Tracing

The next generation of consoles from Sony and Microsoft are making promises, which at the moment, it seems that they are not going to be fulfilled. The gameplay of Assassin's Creed Valhalla for the Xbox Series X has been published and the truth is that the first slap of reality has arrived. The game will arrive in 4K @ 30FPS resolution, a far cry from the hype advertised 60FPS and without Ray Tracing.

This new generation of consoles promises to reach a resolution of 4K @ 60FPS and also support Ray Tracing technology. But the first game announced for the Xbox Series X is already beginning to show reality. Naturally, it seemed very difficult for the Xbox Series X to do things that the most beast of PC hardware cannot.

First reality slap for Xbox Series X

Microsoft indicates that the Xbox Series X is "the most powerful console ever created" with a power of 12 TFLOPs. Theoretically this console should offer 4K @ 60FPS with HDR and Ray Tracing technology. But Assassin's Creed Valhalla reveals that this is all just marketing to sell consoles.

Perhaps this is only in this game, perhaps in other titles the parameters established by Microsoft are reached. It is true that the Assassin's Creed Odyssey barely reaches 4K @ 60FPS on the NVIDIA RTX 2080 Ti from 13.45TFLOPs. Ubisoft is one of those companies that has become used to releasing games without optimization and with many problems.

Ubisoft has always been committed to exploring new technologies, leveraging the capabilities of new consoles to deliver the most immersive experience possible, which is why we are thrilled to be collaborating with Microsoft to bring Assassin's Creed Valhalla to Xbox Series X.

Currently, we can guarantee that Assassin's Creed Valhalla will run at least 30 FPS. Assassin's Creed Valhalla will benefit from faster loading times, allowing players to immerse themselves in history and the world without friction. Lastly, Assassin's Creed Valhalla will benefit from the improved graphics made possible by Xbox Series X, and we can't wait to see the beautiful world we're creating in stunning 4K resolution.

We'll have a lot more to show you about Assassin's Creed Valhalla in the near future, so stay tuned for more information soon.
