Battle Royale for Battlefield V is delayed again for no reason
Not only is Battlefield V full of bugs and problems, now there is a new postponement of the arrival date of the Battle Royale mode.
The game Battlefield V wants to get into the fashion of the Battle Royale with its own mode of these characteristics. This mode called Firestorm was going to arrive in the game in March 2019, but it has been delayed again. Battlefield V is a disaster and those who have accessed through Origin Access Premium are complaining about the large number of bugs and much of the content is locked indefinitely, including vehicle customization, crawling on the ground, the cooperative mode of Four player 'Combined Arms' and the Battle Royale.
Battlefield V again delays the Battle Royale mode amid countless criticisms.
Ryan MacArthur, director of development of live services at DICE, has been the one who has come out to make excuses for the new delay, indicating that the missing content will be quite good, that for now nothing has happened, that they do it because the players would have too many things to play with, thus limiting users' power of choice. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has twelve game modes among which are the Zombie and Battle Royale mode and nothing happens, everyone plays what they want, not what they are forced to play.
“Basically when we look at the live service, we look at how we want to build the game from a gaming perspective. We want to make sure that each introduction of a new game mode is able to stand on its own and stand out from everything else in a way that players want to focus on it.
So we look at things like Firestorm and the cooperative Combined Arms experience - putting all of that together almost creates a world where there is too much to do. We want players to have this - here's the core Battlefield V experience, and here's a co-op experience based on that, and here's a Battle Royale experience built on that foundation. Players have things to look forward to and can spend time with each mode. Otherwise you have a similar thing, like with expansions where the player base is fragmented. It sucks all the oxygen out of the room if you put too much of it ”
The excuse might make sense if they didn't delay every two by three. Despite everything, we already know EA's policies to get money from everything, even from under the stones and of course, the public is starting to get tired of this practice and being told that they can or cannot play.
