Bioware would have serious problems having new content in Anthem according to an insider

Apparently, Anthem has fewer players than the MMO Star Wars The Old Republic, and the minimum number of people at Bioware are working on it. There are no plans to deliver on the additional content promised in May and it will not be at E3.

Once again we have to speak badly of Anthem, and believe us that we do not like having to report news of the failure that is being very popular. Now it seems that Electronic Arts and Bioware are taking the failure of the game very low profile in all respects.

Anthem is almost abandoned by Bioware

Everything we tell here comes from a supposed Bioware insider who contacted the MMOFails blog, and who has already reported leaks in the past that turned out to be true. According to that insider, the additional Anthem content would already be in the hands of a small team of developers, the main one to get things done even at a very slow pace.

Although it does not seem that many people will be interested because according to insider sources, the failed MMORPG Star Wars: The Old Republic has many more players than the recent Bioware game despite the fact that new users have entered. They want to improve player retention but they have negative opinions against them, and they have such a definite problem that they are annoyed with the satirical texts of the Onion post and their best social media strategy is to say nothing to make people forget of the game until they bring new content.

But that won't solve the reported problems that many employees are unhappy with the management image they give to Bioware fans. They have a patch ready to improve the Anthem experience but they will not release it until they have content to give, and they will not be present at the EA Play that will happen next to E3.
