The developers of the fishing game Call of the Wild: The Angler have released the details of the new Evolution update. At first glance, they show how they have introduced a great variety of fish and an improved graphic aspect thanks to more remarkable water physics. They've stocked the waterways with eight new fish species in the Golden Ridge Reserve. These are blackfish, tiger walleye, flatsnout sturgeon, green sunfish, brook trout, cutthroat trout, Ohrid trout, and walleye. Adding more variety to this area is important because it's where everyone begins their fishing adventure with The Angler.
A rework has been given to the water skin, now available with the Evolution update. Bodies of water have received a major visual overhaul, with their movement and reflections updated to look better than ever.
Now our angler will react based on the size of your catch on the catch screen. Before, characters had a fixed neutral facial expression, even after taking the best shot of their life they would react the same.
There is a new and improved progression system. His goal is to make leveling up, fishing, and increasing reputation more meaningful. It also implies changes to the XP numbers for all players.
