Cuphead is coming to Nintendo Switch in April

The acclaimed Cuphead will arrive on the Nintendo console in less than a month. The port is made by the developer himself and will be played at 60fps.

Last Wednesday there was a presentation of independent games on Nintendo Switch led by Cuphead. The announcement was simple: the game will arrive on Nintendo Switch on April 18. It was hugely successful when it originally came out on Xbox One and PC thanks to its boss design and it was devilishly fun to play.

Cuphead and his Fleischer-style drawings coming to Switch in a month

The news of Cuohead coming to Nintendo Switch is very good. For months Microsoft and Nintendo have been boasting of collaborating together in the field of consoles by making their netcodes for online games compatible. It means that, for example, a Minecraft player with an Xbox One can play with a friend who plays it on the Nintendo Switch. All thanks to Xbox Live.

Now the collaboration goes a little further and a game produced by Microsoft itself will be released on a console that is not Xbox One. Being a cooperative game, that it will be released on Nintendo Switch is ideal thanks to the fact that with the two Joy Con that come from series on the console can be played with a friend in your local cooperative mode.

The Cuphead port for Nintendo Switch is known to be made by the MHDR studio itself and has not been outsourced. That dedication to porting at home has ensured that it can be played at 60fps when docked to a television. And it is ideal because that way you can see those animations so detailed and inspired by the works of the Fleischer brothers well fluid and without stopping. It is certainly good news for Nintendo Switch users who wanted to play this game.
