Cyberpunk 2077 is practically ready and the majority of sales so far are on PC
This year is expected to see the release of the highly anticipated Cyberpunk 2077 , the game developed by CD Projekt RED. It was initially slated for release around this time, but was delayed until September 27th. The company indicated that the game was ready, but they wanted to finalize a few aspects before launching it. Apparently, they only needed to integrate the core gameplay with some of the main and side missions.
CD Projekt RED appears to have had some great display of the game during E3 2020, as it did last year. The event will not be held due to the coronavirus. During a call to the company's investors, they are working on a digital event to replace the presentation at E3.

The developers also stressed that they are very comfortable with the game's release date scheduled for September. It seems that what little is left is small details to offer a polished game and the zero-day patch. CD Projekt RED just wants to have a highly polished game by its intended release date. We'll see if the game is finally as polished as the company indicates.
In addition, the company has given a very interesting data, and that is that the game has more computer reserves than console. One of the incentives to have more sales on PC than on console could be due to the integration of RayTracing.
The truth is that the situation of the CD Projekt RED studio aims to be very good this year. Yesterday we learned that the sales of The Witcher 3 in 2019 were almost 7.5 million copies. This year aims to be equally great for the company with the launch of this new game. Without a doubt, the Polish company is in an incredible moment.
