Cyberpunk 2077 will have Keanu Reeves and will arrive on April 16

CD Projekt Red's Cyberpunk 2077 will bring Keanu Reeves, currently known for the John Wick movies, into video games. They have also confirmed its release date.

Last Sunday at his E3 conference, ecosystem showed a new trailer for Cyberpunk 2077, the next great game from the Polish company after The Witcher III: Wild Hunt. One of the big surprises they showed, apart from the release date, is that it will have Keanu Reeves as a guest star, who even appeared on stage.

Keanu Reeves will be an important part of the Cyberpunk 2077 story

In interviews following the announcement of his appearance, CD Projekt confirmed that the character played by Keanu Reeves is not just a star appearance or a mere cameo. They assure that their role will be quite important throughout the adventure and the world that they will show us.

They also commented that they will bring the concept of the paper and pencil role-playing game to the video game as much as they can. One of the questions fans ask the most is whether we can get through the game without killing anyone, and the answer is yes. There will always be a non-lethal way to overcome challenges and missions so that we can embody a non-violent character.

Finally, they confirmed that the game will finally arrive on April 16 next year. It has a little more than nine months to go but they already see the end of development. Of course, something unforeseen can always arise and it may have to be delayed a few months to polish the game or ensure the well-being of the workers. In addition, they already have the collector's editions of the game ready for those who want to buy the game in style and get some details and collectibles to show off that they have hype for Cyberpunk 2077 and Keanu Reeves.
