Detective Pikachu is coming to Nintendo Switch
The Detective Pikachu game is coming to Nintendo's desktop soon. It will end the adventure of the game that could not be finished on Nintendo 3DS, and that's all that is known for now.
During a recently completed Pokémon press conference, The Pokémon Company announced several Pokémon titles and projects, including the Pokémon Home virtual hub y Pokémon Sleep that will encourage us to sleep better. There was also a small ad for Detective Pikachu.
After the movie to see how it is done on Nintendo Switch
The announcement in question is that Detective Pikachu will cease to be exclusive to Nitendo 3DS and will arrive on Nintendo Switch to end the story of the game. The game the film is based on came out on the laptop several years ago, although it took a long time to leave Japan due to doubts about whether it would be a best-seller. And apparently it was not because they promised more history and did not finish it.
Now that the Detective Pikachu movie, which is still in theaters and we highly recommend seeing it; It has been a box office success almost comparable to that of Avengers, it seems that they want to take advantage to continue with the project they had in mind. They will complete the story of the game, which in the original Nintendo 3DS delivery ended in a cliffhanger that warned us of more content that never arrived.
It is a shame for Nintendo 3DS users who are left with a seemingly incomplete game, but the console is practically abandoned by the company to focus on the Nintendo Switch, which has very positive sales. We hope this version of Detective Pikachu includes the initial adventure for those who did not play it once, which would be ideal. And that's all because those of The Pokémon Company have not given more details of this project at the press conference.
