You can request a refund if you are unhappy with Cyberpunk 2077

Initially scheduled for the beginning of the year, the Cyberpunk 2077 game has been delayed several times, releasing a few days ago. CD Pojekt RED highlighted in all cases that it was to correct bugs and possible performance improvements. Well, the game's launch has been pretty bad. The developers have even said that they will return the money from Cyberpunk 2077 to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One users.

CD Projekt RED has seen how the launch of their long awaited game has not been as good as they had anticipated. The PC version, which is supposed to be the most optimized, offers a performance of up to 20% in AMD Ryzen processors compared to Intel Core. A lot of problems that is bothering users.

If you're unhappy with Cyberpunk 2077, you get your money back

The developers indicate that during January and February they will release large patches for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. According to the developers, these patches will improve the gaming experience. Those who don't want to wait can claim their copy of Cyberpunk 2077 money back.

The game does not perform as well on its PC version. AMD Ryzen processors perform 20% lower than if the computer is based on Intel Core. The problem is in the compiler used, which is Intel C ++, which causes the game not to take advantage of the processing threads of the Ryzen processors.

CD Projekt RED statement on Twitter

Dear players,

First of all, we would like to apologize for not showing the game on previous generation base consoles before their release and consequently not allowing you to make a more informed decision about your purchase. We should have paid more attention to making it work better on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Second, we'll fix bugs and glitches, and improve the overall experience. The first round of updates has just been released and the next one will take place in the next 7 days. Wait a bit longer, as we will update frequently once the new enhancements are ready. After the Christmas holidays, we will continue working. We will release two great patches starting with Patch 1 in January. This will be followed by Patch 2 in February. Together, they should solve the most important problems that gamers face on previous generation consoles. They won't make the game on the latest generation of consoles look like it's running on a high-spec PC or next-gen console, but it will be closer to that experience than it is now.

Finally, we want everyone who buys our games to be happy with their purchase. We would appreciate it if you gave us a chance, but if you are not satisfied with the game on your console and don't want to wait for updates, you can choose to return your copy. For digitally purchased copies, please use the PSN/Xbox refund system, respectively. For physical versions, please first try to get a refund from the store where you bought the game. If that's not possible, please contact us at [email protected] [email protected] And we will do everything we can to help you. Starting today, you can contact us for one week, until December 21, 2020.

PS: PC players will receive regular updates to make in-game fixes.
