Drug Dealer Simulator, the Steam game that promotes drug trafficking and drug use
A few days after the controversy generated by 'Rape Day', the game Drug Dealer Simulator arrives on Steam, which will turn us into drug traffickers.
The number of games on Steam grows every day and although many try to compete with it, it is not easy. This is mainly due to the amount of facilities Valve provides indie developers. A few days ago we saw how 'Rape Day' sneaked onto the platform, a game that promoted the rape and murder of women. The pressure of the users has ended up causing Steam to decide that this game will never reach the platform. Now a new front opens with the Drug Dealer Simulator game.
Drug Dealer Simulator, the new controversial Steam game
This title is based on the life of a drug dealer. We are offered the possibility of cultivating, manufacturing and producing all kinds of drugs and even distributing them. We will also have to face all the usual setbacks in the world of drugs. The funny thing about this game is that it has been validated by Valve and is expected to arrive shortly on Steam. There is no date of arrival on the platform, but it seems that it is something safe.
We will have to deal with things like weighing the drug very precisely, growing the necessary plants, and even putting a price on our product. So we can become camels or big drug traffickers without leaving home.
That it arrives shortly after the controversy generated with 'Rape Day' is perhaps not the best possible publicity. Like the 'game' of rape and murder of women, it creates a host of moral dilemmas. It can be easily understood that this game invites and / or incites drug use and trafficking, something illegal in Spain. We'll see if Valve ends up reconsidering accessing the game on Steam.
