# E32017: The Crew 2 confirmed and brings much more than street racing
At the Ubisoft conference during E3 2017, among other surprises, we came across The Crew 2. The unexpected second installment of the racing game is scheduled for early 2018 and is much more than just car racing.
Stephen Beley, creative director at Ubisoft Ivory Tower, unveiled one of this year's biggest surprises during his E3 2017 conference. The Crew 2 will be available in early 2018 for Xbox, PlayStation, and PC.
The first installment of this game came stomping down by introducing us to an open-world game where you could literally cross the United States from end to end between races. The game allowed you to explore the entire country while enjoying driving its different landscapes.
Given this, Ubisoft wanted to go a step further, while in the first part the street races of tuned cars were mostly highlighted, The Crew 2 seeks for the player to become the absolute champion of the motor world. In the few minutes that there has been to enjoy the game, it has been possible to observe how the main character was winning in each type of race: rally, street races, aerial acrobatic races, aquatic races, Formula 1, etc. have been seen. Finishing the trailer with a spectacular image as a champion with all the vehicles used behind him. In addition, The Crew 2 will bring all this without giving up its already characteristic open world.
