The fighter Kurt Angle could be the protagonist of WWE 2K20

Kurt Angle promotional materials have appeared with the 2K Sports logo. The wrestler has not had a presence in WWE games.

The official WWE game series usually have a guest star each year. The 2019 installment had AJ Styles with the promotion of beating him to get a million dollars, the previous one was Seth Rollins, and in 2k17 there was Brock Lesnar. Now it seems that the star will be Kurt Angle.

Recently retired Kurt Angle may be the star of WWE 2K20

Kurt Angle is one of the most recognized stars of the company, from its premiere in the late 90s until the last Wrestlemania in which he lost against Baron Corbin in his farewell match. He's now officially retired from active competition, at least according to WWE stories.

And why are we talking about Kurt Angle now? Because a recent image indicates that he could be the star of WWE 2K20 and with him as the protagonist of Showcase mode. We would fight in several important matches of his in his career such as against Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania 19, against Eddie Guerrero at Wrestlemania XX or against Shane McMahon at King of the Ring to give examples that come to mind of important Kurt Angle matches.

All of this comes from a series of prints that Kurt Angle is going to sign shortly based on a photo posted by a Reddit user at / SquaredCircle. They would be normal prints but they have the 2K Sports logo, which they only use when promoting WWE 2K games. This year WW 2K20 will play, which has not yet been announced but could do so on tonight's edition of Monday Night RAW in its American broadcast. Kurt Angle has many ballots to be the visible face having a long career in the company and being available for events at, in theory; having left active competition. Everything will be a matter of waiting.
