Electronic Arts says that the bad sales of Battlefield V are due to the campaign mode and not having Battle Royale mode

The latest from Electronic Arts, that is to say that the fault of the bad sales of Battlefield V is its campaign mode, not that the game is unfinished and its nefarious marketing campaign.

Just yesterday the financial data of Electronic Arts were presented, which have been quite bad. The company insists that the problem lies with the Battlefield V which has only sold 7.3 million copies. They are a million fewer copies than expected. We must also add to this the reduction in the price of the game a few days after its launch. The game has been lowered more than 30% and in some cases up to 50%.

EA insists Battlefield V is to blame for its bad financial data

According to Andrew Wilson, CEO of EA, he has said that the bad sales of the new Battlefield installment are due to the game's campaign mode. He further hints that DICE's insistence on prioritizing the game's campaign mode over the Battle Royale mode is to blame for the game's poor sales. Because if they had released the full game, instead of releasing it half, they would have no excuse.

The game, which has been released incomplete, adds that the company has made the worst marketing campaign in history. It appears that the company has also learned nothing from loot boxes and micro-transactions. A predictable result and luck they have to have sold so many copies.

Anthem, which arrives in a few days, could turn into a failure, since not even the executives of the company have good feelings about the game. But due to the insistence of the company to launch games that are not finished and that it takes months for them to be complete and above all they force you to buy DLC to enjoy the game.

Unfortunately as long as people continue to buy Electronic Arts games and do not get a good bump in sales, everything will remain the same.
