Epic Games takes its chest out of its digital store and explains the delay of its last update
The roadmap for its digital video game store is published by Epic Games, revealing some quite interesting data.
Despite the fact that the Epic Games store is a few months old, it is not leaving anyone indifferent. The company has even launched an ordeal at Valve and its Steam store. Now Epic Games has presented a press release where it talks about the future of the Epic Games Store. They emphasize that the month of April has been the most important in its short history. They say that World War Z has sold 320.000 copies, more than 250.000 of these during the first week.
Epic Games pulls out its chest and talks about the future
Satisfactory developers Coffee Stain joked that they only sold 9 copies of the game on Twitter. A joke that has to do with the fact that it is the best PC release in the history of the developer. It is true that they have not given data on how many digital copies of the game they have sold.
The company explains that the April update has been delayed and that it will be split into two parts. The first part of this update will arrive in May and the second part in June. This is because they have preferred to prioritize online features in order to accommodate upcoming releases.

We also have to announce a delay. A month ago we released the roadmap for the Epic Games store, where we would share the launch plans for the new features of the store. The features that we had planned for April will be released in May and June, as our development activities have focused on providing support for the online features that have been needed for new game releases. Stay tuned for upcoming updates and take a look from time to time at the "Recently shipped" section of the Trello dashboard, where you can follow our progress thread.
