Suicide Squad will be the next game from the creators of Batman Arkham
Five years have passed since Batman Arkham Knight, and Rocksteady is ready to show off his Suicide Squad game. It will be shown at DC's Fandome event on August 22.
For years there has been speculation about what the creators of Batman Arkham Asylum, Batman Arkham City and Batman Arkham Knight are up to. Queines rose to fame for making a high-quality, licensed Batman game they've been nagging at whether it was a Superman, Justice League, or Suicide Squad game.
Rocksteady's Suicide Squad Shown In The Fandome
Before the cancellation of the Comic Con of San Diego by the coronavirus, DC Comics has the Fandome event in preparation for August 22nd. It will be an online event full of broadcasts related to their series and it is expected that the Rocksteady Games game will be shown there, as well as the new Batman from Warner Bros Montreal and if that a new Injustice.
To further the wait and keep the interest in the events of the Fandome, Rocksteady has confirmed that after the Batman Arkham, they are now with a Suicide Squad game. Yes, Suicide Squad, one of the films that was going to be key to the Marvel Cinematic Universe and that got mixed reviews because the tone did not end with liking among fans of DC movies. But keep in mind that Rocksteady does not base his ideas on the movies, but reinvents and reinterprets what appears in the comics.
Shortly after the announcement, Bloomberg's Jason Schreier commented that the game has been in development since 2017 after Warner Bros Montreal was making a Suicide Squad game. They are also expected to showcase the Batman game based on the Court of Owls series, one of Batman's most beloved modern comic series.
