Final Fantasy XIV Patch 5.35 will be released on October 13 with new content from Bozja's Southern Front. The 5.4 will do it in December.
Square Enix has detailed the content coming to Final Fantasy XIV Online in Patch 5.4 during the latest Letter from the Producer livestream. Patch 5.4, titled “Futures Rewritten,” is set to release in early December 2020 and will include new content for the Shadowbringers expansion.

The producer and director Naoki Yoshida has announced that it plans to make the PlayStation 4 version of Final Fantasy XIV compatible with the PlayStation 5. It is expected that players will be able to use the PS4 Pro display settings and the power of PlayStation 5 to shorten load times.
The December 5.4 FFXIV patch includes a host of updates and new content for adventurers of all kinds of playstyles. There will be new missions for the main story, a new raid dungeon known as Eden's Promise, which will be the third chapter in the 8-player raid series in the Eden series with normal and wild difficulties.
Lots of content coming soon to Final Fantasy XIV Online
With FFXIV Patch 5.4, The Sorrow of Werlyt's new questline chapter will introduce the Emerald Weapon. We can face the Emerald Weapon in normal and extreme difficulty. There will also be a new dungeon called Matoya's Relict. Players above level 80 will face the next boosted version of one of the primordials in Patch 5.4, which will offer a new challenge and the opportunity to get exclusive prizes.
The Blue Mage profession will receive an update that includes an increase in the maximum level, new blue magic to learn from enemies, new class-specific equipment, and additions to the Blue Mage journal. The new Explorer game mode will allow players to traverse the dungeons of the Shadowbringers expansion without encountering enemies in order to take photos freely. We can also summon both mounts and minions in the dungeons and use this mode to take pictures of them.
For those who like to play instruments to train other Final Fantasy XIV Online players, the violin has been included among the playable instruments. On the other hand, the Triple Triad game will undergo a revision of the rules of the confrontations and improvements in the UI, along with new tournaments for a limited time. Ishgard Restoration will be updated to begin the fourth and final phase of the restoration of the Holy See of Ishgard. Finally, there will be new content for large-scale battles and the possibility of further upgrading Resistance weapons in the next chapter of the Save the Queen adventure.
