They steal and leak Watch Dogs Legion source code

Computer security has become critical and companies are spending more and more money to improve their systems. Despite all this, leaks of confidential information continue to occur. Just yesterday data was leaking from CryTek's upcoming releases, which include a Battle Royale version of Crysis. The source code for Ubisoft's Watch Dogs Legion has now been leaked.

The Watch Dogs Legion game was launched on October 29 with good success. Some crackers have managed to get hold of the source code of this game using the 'Egregor' ransomware. The Watch Dogs Legion source code is 560GB and private torrent trackers can be found.

Leaked Watch Dogs Legion source code

Not much information has been given on how exactly they managed to steal the Watch Dogs Legion source code. Ubisoft would not have done their job well and they have managed to circumvent the security of the company. The source code of this title will be very difficult, since it disappears from the network and it has surely been downloaded by many users.

The positive part of this is that we will be able to see a lot of Mods shortly, without a doubt. It is not ruled out that some choose to generate optimizations for this game, which as always, comes with a lot to do. In addition, various bugs and glitches could be corrected within the game by anonymous users.

Ubisoft will be harmed by the leak of this content. Groups of crackers could find security holes that allow to bypass anti-piracy measures. In addition, future updates of blocked content, among others, could be unlocked.

Something very interesting is that new games can be created based on this game. Independent developers could modify different elements of the game, since everything is developed. You could also create new missions, modify and customize characters, etc., since the limit would be the imagination.
