Final Fantasy VII Remake shows a new promotional image
Square Enix has revealed a new promotional image for Final Fantasy VII Remake during the event Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary.
The Japanese company has taken advantage of today's event of the 30th anniversary of the saga to show a promotional image of Final Fantasy VII Remake, which at the moment has no estimated release date. It is, however, the only reference to this remake on the same day that it is 30 years after its launch in Japan. The company has not offered any new trailers or details of the progress of the game.

This promotional image features the renowned warrior Cloud Strife in the foreground , shown in profile, wielding his massive sword. In the background, his enemy Sephiroth strikes a similar pose, extending his wing to cover almost the entire background. They are separated by the city of Midgar and, specifically, by the Shinra Corporation, the starting point and central location of the story.
This version, which will be released temporarily on Playstation 4, will update the graphics for a completely three-dimensional visual section, will add more details to the story, integrating events told in other installments and will modify the combat system by uni more oriented to action. The format of the game will be episodic, although each episode will be like a whole game subdividing the story by the installments. The release date is unknown.
The game's director, Tetsuya Nomura , made a statement three weeks ago in Famitsu magazine, declaring: " We are making steady progress in production, but the wait for Final Fantasy VII Remake will be a little longer. The game's release itself still has a way to go. I'm very sorry, but I will make a game that meets expectations."
As of today, no release details are known for the Final Fantasy VII Remake.
