Final Fantasy VII Remake is still alive and we will know more in June

State of Play showed that the Final Fantasy VII Remake project is moving forward. We could see some new gameplay with cutscenes and we are warned to stay tuned in June.

The development of Final Fantasy VII Remake has been bumpy, to say the least. After the announcement a few years ago, little had been shown beyond a trailer where it was shown closer to Final Fantasy XV than the original game. It was today during the State of Play, Sony's new communication format, in which it has been shown that the game continues, although little by little.

In the streaming that caught us late at night, a little more of the development of the game has been shown. We have seen some encounters in the game's initial city, Midgar, as well as some classic scenes such as the moment when Aeris gives Cloud a flower, a moment highly remembered by fans of the original game. Of course, the content has been rather scarce, and unless we know how the Final Fantasy XV combat system is going, we would not be very clear how it goes.

More news on the Final Fantasy VII remake next month

If it has been little, which for many it has been, we do not have to worry too much, since we have been warned that more of the game will be shown in June. Hopefully it will be during E3 2019, which takes place next month. Although Sony has confirmed that it will not be at the fair (which does not mean that there is no State of Play) it is more than certain that more information will be given at the Square Enix presentation, since the game will surely end up being multiplatform.

At the moment we can only wait for there to be news about it for one of the most anticipated games right now.
