The Chinese game Genshin Impact has caused a sensation and is already preparing a lot of new content. But they don't plan to bring it to Xbox for now.
Although at first people could criticize it for looking a lot like The Legend of Zelda: Breathh of The Wild, which some have called it Breath of the Weebs for its anime aesthetic, Genshin Impact has come and surprised. In a few weeks it has reached millions of downloads only on mobile phones, and that means that Genshin impact will have a future with new content.

In an interview with the IGN Japan portal, the representative of the developer miHoYo explained that he considers Genshinm Impact as a game as a service. That means they have more additional content in mind. Especially now that it has been proven to be an international success, one of the greatest for a game of Chinese origin.
The game currently has 20 characters to control and two main cities to visit. That number is going to increase because they have confirmed that they are already working on more content for Genshin Impact: characters with specific missions, secondary missions and a third city. They commented that many decisions and changes will be made taking into account the opinions of users.
A version for Nintendo Switch is on the way, but they confirmed they have plans for next-gen consoles. It most likely means that Genshin Impact will be out in PS5, but they already warned that there are no plans to release it on Xbox consoles, neither Xbox One nor Xbox series. This may be because they consider that the brand does not have much of a market in Asia, and that users of the Xbox brand do not usually enter games with a Japanese or Asian aesthetic.
