Gabe Newell says they put the development of Half Life 3 on hold after discarding up to five scripts

During an interview Gabe Newell, CEO of Valve and creator of Steam has made it very clear that they are not working on Half Life 3.

One of the most anticipated and most demanded games by fans is the third installment of Half Life. Half Life 2 was launched on the market on November 16, 2004, so in 2019 it will be fifteen years after its launch. Much has been said about this and especially many jokes Gabe Newell has sneaked in over the years. The CEO of Valve and creator of Steam has recently said in an interview that at the moment he has no intention of continuing with the saga. Come on, there will be no Half Life 3.
