Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed Ecto Edition is now available for pre-order for Nintendo Switch
The game Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed, with an asymmetric character of four players against one, Now allows reservation of the Ecto Edition of Nintendo Switch, which will be available starting September 28. The digital edition will include the four DLC along with the original game and can be played starting October 19, 2023 on Nintendo Switch. There will be a physical edition that will be released later by Nighthawk Interactive.
This asymmetrical, hunt-or-be-hunted title allows fans of the series Play as part of a team of new Ghostbusters, or like a ghost. It has a single player mode, both online and offline, assisted by bots. As the player plays, the story will develop.

Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed can be purchased from the Nintendo Store, Epic Games Store, PlayStation Store, Xbox Marketplace. This game supports CrossPlay between platforms, so you can play with any friend regardless of the platform they play on. The game features all of the franchise's iconic equipment and gadgets, from proton packs to PKE meters to ghost traps.
Many fans will recognize the Fire Station and Ray's Occult Bookstore, which act as bases in the game. This is where players can choose which missions they will take on, where they will customize their characters, where they will practice using their proton packs, and more. The films' original actors can be heard reprising their roles as Ray Stantz and Winston Zeddemore.
If you choose to play as a Ghostbuster, you will be armed with proton packs to try to catch a ghost lurking in various locations. You will be able to use the PKE meter to detect portals. As players progress, they will unlock cosmetics and upgrades for both Ghostbusters and Ghosts.
If you choose to play as a ghost, you will have multiple abilities to terrorize haunted places, such as possessing objects, drooling, and more. You will be able to stalk other players from various locations. You have to choose up to five ghosts with unique abilities, ultimate abilities, and ectoplasm-powered minions.
