God of War Ragnarok is going to 2022 and will be released on PS4 in addition to PS5

God Of War Ragnarok will not only not be exclusive to PS5 when it comes out on PS4, but it will not be released this year. Sony changes plans with its future titles.
Last year it was announced on PS5 ad streaming in style that the soft reboot of the God of War series was going to come out in 2021. A somewhat daring date being only three years after the 2018 smash hit and seeing that these games cost more and more to release them. But it has finally been delayed and will also be released on PS4.

Totally fucking PS5 exclusives lag further
With the announcement of a PS4 version of God of War Ragnarok as one of Gran Turismo 7, the list of totally exclusive PS5 games is emptied. Destruction All-Stars, Demon's Souls, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart and Returnal are among the very few games that can only be played on PS5 by Sony, on a console that has just been released.
This move may be due to increased development costs and a shortage of consoles. Several analysts insist that the shortage of components and therefore that of consoles, will not end until mid-2022. Thus, a game as exceptionally ambitious as God of War Ragnarok should come out on PS4 is a way not to lose initial sales because when it comes out, the pool of consoles won't be big enough.
It also remains to be seen how the PS4 consoles will respond to this God of War Ragnarok. Let's not forget that this is a PS5 game that must be downgraded and will still be visually spectacular. The original PS4s already suffered a lot with late games like Ghost of Tsushima and The Last of Us Part II, so we will have to play with very powerful headphones when we play to be able to hear more than the fans.
