GTA 6 will not leave the story mode despite the success that is GTA Online

Rockstar Games developers have confirmed that GTA 6 will continue to have a story mode. GTA6 won't just be a relaunched GTA Online or just GTA Online 2.
The success of GTA Online, the online mode of GTA5, has caused players to question the future of Rockstar Games games a lot. While before they could release three or four games and support them with DLC, today they are totally focused on bringing add-ons for GTA Online. The generation of PS4 and Xbox One spent it taking expansions of GTA Online, and only released Red Dead Redemption 2 with indications that its online mode was a success, which it has not been.

GTA6 won't just be GTA Online 2
So far there has been no firm announcement for Grand Theft Auto VI, but it is expected that one day it will be announced, as Rockstar Games has applied for video game development grants. As these aids cannot be requested for game re-releases, everything indicates that it would be the new Grand Theft Auto. But there is the question of whether they are going to put aside everything that is the solo component to do it totally Online, which is where they get the most money.
In a recent GQ magazine interview, several developers clarified that GTA 6 will not leave out a single-player story mode. While they hope to introduce even more elements to GTA online in the future, they strongly deny that they have decided to rule out an offline mode for those who simply want a Grand Theft Auto 6 with a story.
And is that one day they will have to release a new Grand Theft Auto as GTA Online is getting bigger and harder to control. Whether due to engine limitations or forcing users to continue their online life in the new game with a new map from scratch, Grand Theft Auto 6 comes out is a matter of time.
