Ghost of Tsushima will receive its multiplayer Legends mode on October 16

Ghost of Tsushima will receive a multiplayer mode in the coming days. Along with it, there will be a number of improvements to the base game that will be appreciated.

Shortly after the PlayStation 5's release , Ghost of Tsushima came out this summer and became an unexpected hit. It generated almost more hype and a better reception than The Last of Us Part II and is poised to be Sony's last major game for the PS4, if we disregard the PS5 games that will also be released on PS4. And since it seems that playing PS4 games on PS5 is going to be one of Sony's strategies, they aren't going to abandon Sucker Punch's game anytime soon.

A multiplayer is added

Several months ago it was confirmed that Ghost of Tsushima is going to have a multiplayer mode called Legends. Some details were given but today everything has been revealed, including the date when it will arrive. It will be a completely free game mode and without microtransactions involved. Players will be able to choose from four classes with special abilities and weapons.

The arrival date for Ghost of Tsushima: Legends is October 16. It will be a cooperative multiplayer mode with up to three other companions that will consist of two story missions and four survival missions. And after the launch a raid mission will come.

Along with the multiplayer mode, several characters in different towns will be added to the base game. One of them will be Gyozen, the character with which we will access Legends mode if we want to go to that mode once the game has started. Also included will be the New Game + option to start the story over from the point where Jin first meets the Khan. We will keep all the techniques, equipment and vanity items, and the difficulty will be increased to keep it challenging.
