Zelda Breath of the Wild will have prequel: Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity

Out of nowhere, Nintendo has announced a prequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The grace? It is a musou called Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.

What should have been an advertisement for a Nintendo Direct, is now one of the many announcements that Nintendo releases as a surprise at the usual time on its social networks. This week's was a prequel to The Legend of Zelda. Breath of The Wild, which will use the Musou formula from Hyrule Warriors.

A second musou from Zelda

Hyrule Warriors was highly divisive among Zelda fans due to its departure from the original formula. Under the name of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, Koei Tecmo will make a second installment of The Legend of Zelda series. It will be set in a plot before The LEgend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
