PS4 Playlink games won't work on PS5
The entire series of games in the Playlink experience will not work on PS5. The problem is that the console does not support second screens.
Yesterday we posted a list of the PS4 games that have been confirmed to they don't work on PS5. Of the list of ten games, only one or two are really remarkable. Now the games that use the Playlink game system join that list.

Playlink games will stay on PS4
The Playlink series of experiences on PS4 was the line of games that run on the console and an online room is created and a link is given for players to use their mobile browser or a dedicated app to play multiplayer games using their mobile controller. An experience that draws heavily on the use of the Jackbox Party Pack public rooms.
They were focused on a casual audience, but it does not mean that they are still games for a certain audience. Well, that audience is going to be unable to play those PS4 Playlink games on PS5. The reason that Sony has given is that PS5 does not support games with second screens or that they use other applications to play. The list of affected games is as follows:
- chimparty
- Frantics
- Hidden Agenda
- Just Deal With It!
- Melbits world
- Knowledge Is Power
- Knowledge Is Power: Decades
- That's You
- wordhunters
- Ticket to Ride
- Erica, will lose the option to play with Playlink but it will be possible to play with Dualshock 4 or DuealSense
It may not seem like a huge list of games that we won't be able to play on PS5 given that Playlink never took off. But it does not mean that the number of PS4 games that will not work on the new console grows after Sony said that the vast majority of PS4 games will work on PS5. At least here they give a reason and that is that the PS5, for some reason, does not support that technology.

Hidden Agenda does work on a ps5 as I was able to connect and play fine, I don't know when this was published as maybe there has been an update to support some playlink games since but I don't really know lol
