Battle Mode is the mode players have to play Marvel Snap with friends. It works a little differently than regular games. A typical game of Marvel Snap consists of one game. But in Battle Mode, you play multiple games with a friend using the same deck over and over again.
According to Marvel Snap's Battle Mode blog post from earlier this month, the mode works as follows: both players start with 10 health points . Instead of Cubes, it's the player's Health that's at stake. The first player to reduce their opponent's Health is declared the winner.
These matches are expected to last around 20 minutes, and each player's deck will be locked for the entire battle . This allows you to take advantage of card synergies multiple times and practice countering decks if you pay close attention to your opponent's cards and how they try to counter yours. Players may have been expecting a simpler mode, but this way, you can play head-to-head with others and avoid having to rely on playing with strangers online.
