The physical edition of Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy for Nintendo Switch in Spain only contains download codes
If you buy Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy in Spain, you will not have a cartridge. You will have to make space on the console or use an SD card even if you bought the game in a store.
The arrival of Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy on Nintendo Switch is expected on March 15. It is a compilation of the first three Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm that came out throughout the last generation on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 when the manga was still active and was quite popular. It is not the latest Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 installment but for ninja fans who only have a Nintendo Switch it can be an interesting title.
You buy the game with box in the store but there are no cartridges
Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy is now available on the Nintendo Switch eShop, but a physical edition is coming up for the month of March that will be available on Amazon and other physical stores. Understandably, people want the game in physical format because of the huge game size and low memory of the Switch, or because they want to leave the game to a friend or sell it once they have squeezed it out.
But it has been seen by the cover that Amazon has published in which it is seen that the Spanish version will not have a cartridge with the game. Instead there will be a download code to redeem it in the eShop so that Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy is linked to our account. This means that buying the physical version eliminates all the advantages of the physical format and is just one more way to buy the game in its digital version, either by taking advantage of store balance or discounts.
And it seems that this is a decision that will affect the game in all its regions. This decision already happens to the Australian version. It wouldn't be weird for it to be a universal decision for the physical version of Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy to only include worldwide download codes.
