Tequila Works has announced that its new game, Rime, will go on sale next May for 29,99 euros.

The independent game Rime developed by the Spanish studio, Tequila Works, has revealed the reduced price of its title that will hit the market on May 9. Rime will arrive next May on the platforms of Playstation 4 and Xbox One (and later on Switch) at a reduced price for the physical edition. The developer studio has not clarified if they will release a collector's or special edition of the video game.

The PC version, which will also arrive in May this year, will not have a physical edition, it will arrive in a digital version. The Switch version will arrive later developed by Tantalus studios (study creator of remaster de The Legend of Zelda twilight princess), and they still cannot confirm if they will release the title in physical format.

Rime is an adventure with touches of platforms, puzzles and exploration in which players will embark on a great journey to a beautiful island, and will remember games like The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, The Last Guardno Witness. The game tells the story of a shipwrecked young man, trapped on a mysterious island after a torrential storm. Players must use their wits to unravel the challenges and secrets of an expansive world strewn with rugged terrain, wild creatures and the ruins of a forgotten civilization.

The title has long been owned by Sony, which owned the exclusive rights to the Rime game license, but the developer studio, Tequila Works  Last year he recovered the intellectual property rights of his adventure game and dissociated himself from the exclusivity he had with SonyComputerEntertainment.

Rime was announced at the Gamescom 2013 as a strong exclusive to the Playstation 4 catalog, now that the Spanish studio has regained its rights, they will distribute in May a physical version of their title on various console platforms for players.
