Dragon Quest movie shows its first trailer
The Dragon Quest saga of games enters the cinema sector with its first trailer. It will premiere in Japan this year, with no confirmation as to whether it will be released in the West.
For decades Dragon Quest has always been the great rival of Final Fantasy in Japan, although in the West the saga has gone rather unnoticed, saving some specific issues. It is a saga that many Japanese know and each game generates a lot of expectation with large lines of people waiting to buy the game.
Now we can see what the incursion of the saga in the film sector will be like thanks to the first trailer that has emerged. The animation studio Toei, a legend in the sector, will be in charge of bringing it to us with a 3D animation film.

Dragon Quest is released in the form of a movie trailer
The film will be called Dragon Quest: Your Story in Japan and promises to be a notable box office success. We shouldn't normally trust trailers, but it's well done enough that we will consider checking it out should we get a chance. It's true that movie-themed franchises are rarely of remarkable quality, but you never know.
In this case, an original story has not been chosen, something that would have been appreciated, because they have played it safe and it will be a version of Dragon Quest V, which did not end up arriving in Spain.

However, with anime distributors in Spain focusing a lot on movie outings, it would not be strange if they ended up trying something, especially since this series was well known in Spain a couple of decades ago, especially Catalonia, as Las Aventuras de Fly.
