Sonic movie is delayed to reshape the protagonist without abusing workers
The trailer for the Sonic movie has received such bad reviews that it has opted to remake the character. It has been confirmed that there is a delay so as not to overload the team.
A few weeks ago we could see the first trailer for the Sonic movie, with more than expected reactions. After the constant leaks of promotional material, the trailer showed a hedgehog that could be classified as little stylized, not to say harsher words.
It is a design that fans of the speedy hedgehog did not like at all and that tried to be too realistic and generic according to some. Shortly after receiving this wave of complaints, people from the team confirmed that work was being done on remaking the character, something that many liked but worried about the potential overexploitation of remaking the film in just six months.
A few more months so the team doesn't have a crunch
After the increased awareness of people against crunch, many worried, since it is not enough to remake the 3D model of the character, you have to make many corrections to make the movie look good.

Jeff Fowler, director of the film, has confirmed it on his Twitter account that he announced that the film is delayed, with a hashtag hinting that no special effects artist is harmed. It is comforting to know that a sanity has been reached to correct a mistake that Sonic fans who expected to see the film did not like and calming down those who did not want to overexploit some workers who already have a position with many demands and little recognition .
The Sonic movie will be released in the United States on April 14, 2020, so we can expect it to hit Spanish theaters a couple of months later, but a closer release is also possible.
