Review of the different game modes of LoL
Classic mode
This is the original LoL mode and is based on destroying the enemy's Nexus. There are two maps, such as Summoner's Rift and Twisted Forest on which this game mode is based, with different numbers of players each. The turrets and inhibitors that protect the Nexos must be destroyed.
Dominion
Here are formed two teams of five members that compete within the map The Crystal Scar. The Nexos in this case are not destroyed by blows, but must be controlled for a certain time. This allows our capture points to increase faster and decrease those of the enemies. This game mode is also known as 'defend and destroy'
Snowdown Snowdown [temporary]
This game mode was added to League for the holidays and is currently unavailable. This game mode is a special celebration of the people of Valoran to commemorate the transition from one year to the next. It is based on the Battle Royale mode, in which everyone competes against everyone and the last man standing wins.
All Random All Mind (ARAM)
Five vs five PvP mode. Within this game mode you can choose five summoners per team, randomly summoning a champion from the group of champions. It started out as a mod for LoL and became a popular permanent game mode for those looking for a faster game mode.
Ultra Rapid Fire (URF) [temporary]
Basically in this mode mana and energy costs are suppressed. Ability cooldown time is greatly reduced, and summoner spell usage time is also greatly reduced.
All Random Ultra Rapid Fire (ARURF) [temporary]
It is a combination of URF and ARAM mode. The character selection is the same as in ARAM but the skills and characteristics of the game mode are the same as in URF.
Teamfight Tactics (TFT)
Latest game mode to be added to League. This was presented on June 10 and on June 28 it was already available to all users. This mode is based on a recruitment-based free-for-all and has up to eight participants. Players recruit the most powerful champions, deploy them on the map, and must fight to become the last man standing.
