This would be the first exclusive store that Nintendo would have, although it already has some experience with store management, specifically as an interested party in the Pokémon stores that exist in Japan.
Nintendo prepares to launch its own stores
Nintendo has confirmed its plans for the stores in its Q3 2018 financial report (October, November and December) the store plans. At the moment it is known that Nintendo will take advantage of its official store to sell games and consoles more easily and with less problem with third-party stores, but it has also been confirmed that they will use it for merchandising and take advantage of a permanent physical presence to hold official events, such as tournaments. , competitions or game presentations.
