Nintendo Switch has a new model with more battery and same price
Nintendo has unveiled a new version of the Nintendo Switch with a larger battery capacity. A minimum of four and a half hours is expected and up to nine hours in laptop mode.
A few days ago, Nintendo announced the Nintendo Switch Lite , a more affordable version of the Nintendo Switch with significantly reduced components, making it more appealing to those who don't mind not connecting it to a TV. Now they want to improve their main console with a new version that addresses one of its most criticized aspects: the battery.

With the new Nintendo Switch we will simply have more battery, they have not specified any more changes but it is speculated that a new more efficient processor with energy consumption has been used, since it is not marked that any function has been disabled nor does it seem to have external changes.
Longer battery life for the hybrid console
The new version, which has no official name beyond Nintendo Switch, will have a differentiation in its serial number, which will go from the code HAC-001 to the code HAC-001 (-01) and we will have to review it in case we buy from second hand. As for the stores, the packaging will change to have only red and black, leaving the red and white of until now and it would not be strange for some stores to put the previous model on sale so as not to have to deal with two models that should cost the same .
The price will be the same and the arrival of the console is expected in September. The improvement in battery is difficult to convince those who did not want the console but it will surely interest those who doubted that aspect, although it remains to be seen if some type of Nintendo Switch renewal plan will be made by some specialized stores, which is not we'd be surprised if it ended up happening.
