NVIDIA releases Hotfix 430.53 to fix high CPU consumption cpm drivers

An Nvidia hotfix fixes the drivers that were causing problems since last week. It also fixes four bugs that users had missed.

NVidia publicly released a series of drivers last week as part of its routine procedure to improve compatibility between its products and popular games and programs. After a few days they were found to be causing higher CPU consumption than usual, and they have already released a hotfix to correct this problem along with a small series of fixes.

Nvidia Hotfix 430.53 is now available

Since last week the NVidia 430.39 WHQL drivers were causing these mentioned performance problems. Now thanks to the NVidia Hotfix 430.53, those problems should be fixed. Either for the most demanding users or the most casual ones, the download of these drivers is especially recommended so as not to overload our CPU and have more power available for other processes and that it does not deteriorate.

In more extreme cases, it was seen that the 430.39 WHQL drivers reduced the FPS and even blocked the system. It happened in the lower-end systems, so in these cases the download is already imperative to have a satisfactory user experience and avoid problems.

Aside from the higher CPU usage issue, more issues are fixed by this NVidia hotfix. In 3DMark Time Spy we will no longer have flickering when we launch the benchmark, the BeamNG application no longer crashes when the game starts, the Shadow of the Tomb Raider game will allow to use SLI mode and will no longer crash, and the desktop flickeron when a video is being played on the secondary monitor has been deleted. It is appreciated that they have solved that problem quickly and others, but many users have had several problems and we hope they will not be repeated in the future when downloading new drivers.
