Blizzard begins to prepare for the new Overwatch event. Everything seems to indicate that it will be a new map for the assault mode that will star in the event.
The new event for the Overwatch player community is coming soon. As always, this is a way to keep the community active with a special game mode and during that time you will get loot boxes to get skins, graffiti and more that will only be obtained during that event.
It seems that the new event will have something new
In the face of the new event that will take place during the month of April, which is the Archives, it was not expected that there would be much new content. The typical new legendary skins for the characters that have appeared in their namesake last year and nothing else. Players wanted a new map instead of just leaving raid mode on for the entire month.
Now it seems that there is going to be a little novelty: a new map. Blizzard has released on its website a kind of teaser of what will be the new Overwatch Archives event, focused on showing part of the past history of the characters. They have published a false front page of the newspaper and an informative advance in which they mention a hurricane that is heading for Havana.
Everything seems to indicate that for the Los archivos event, which will probably begin next week, there will be a new map for the assault mode, which will be that of Cuba. If they follow the trend of other Assault modes, on that map we will be limited to a few characters and we will face a series of challenges. It will not be available in Quick Play or other arcade modes. At least it is a small addition that will make getting boxes in the assault mode somewhat more varied, but it tastes a bit insufficient.
