Blizzard just announced that Overwatch will soon receive a new hero to expand the character roster. It will bear the name of Baptiste and for now they have not said the abilities and the role that it will have. But we can speculate on them through their origins trailer and their design.
Overwatch has a new hero and a new map
From what has been seen in the Baptiste trailer, a new character will soon arrive in Overwatch with a high focus on healing our teammates while in turn can attack. The Overwatch community is accused of having a problem with healers because many players want to play the tank or attack role because the support role has little incentive.
